A Garnavillo man, 91 year old George "Bud" Witte, died Monday. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Leonard funeral home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a former Westgate woman, 94 year old Margaret Cannon of Victory-DeSoto, Wisconsin, are Thursday at 2pm at Zion Lutheran church in Oelwein. Burial in Greenwood cemetery in rural Westgate. Visitation is from noon to 2pm Thursday at the church.

Services for a Lawler man, 84 year old Bob Cuvelier, are Friday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Lawler. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 3:30-8pm Thursday at the church, with a 3:30pm parish scripture. Visitation is also an hour before services at the church. Hugeback Johnson funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
