You definitely won't see this on your local fishing report. A Charles City man hooked a gigantic alligator during a hunting trip in Georgia.

Jay Jung traveled to Lake Seminole last month for a controlled alligator hunt after five years of applying to get one of the limited permits. After losing out on a couple of gators earlier in the day, Jung and his buddies trolled the waters waiting for another to surface. His patience paid off big time.

Jung’s catch turned out to be a monster measuring 11'2" and weighing nearly 500 pounds. He said it took him and his friends almost two hours to finally get the massive gator into their boat. Nice work, Jay!
