The road to the state high school volleyball tournament continued Tuesday night with Class-1A and -2A regional quarterfinal matches played across Iowa.

In Class-1A, Don Bosco pulled out a thrilling five-set win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck at Garwin. The Dons won the final set 17-15. The rest of the quarterfinals involving area teams all went three sets. Nashua-Plainfield swept Dunkerton, Janesville topped AGWSR, Turkey Valley ended Kee High's season and Tripoli ousted CAL.

In Class-2A, South Winneshiek swept Clayton Ridge, Starmont knocked off Cascade, Denver swept North Linn, Wapsie Valley topped Jesup and Sumner-Fredericksburg defeated Postville. North Butler's season was ended by Saint Ansgar.
