NE Iowa Man Dies in Weekend Accident

A Northeast Iowa man has died in a weekend accident in Clayton County.

It happened at about 2:30am Sunday, near Edgewood, on Glacier Road.

A car driven by 20 year old Kyle Sear of Garber went out of control on a curve, went into the ditch, and overturned.

His passenger, 22 year old Zachary Lee of Elkport, was partially ejected; he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Sear was injured in the accident, which was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol, with assistance from The Clayton County Sheriff and Delaware County Sheriff, as well as Edgewood Fire Department.
