NE Iowa Authorities Make Weekend Arrests

An Oelwein teenager has been referred to juvenile authorities on theft and drug charges. Following the investigation into an incident that happened Sunday, Oelwein Police have referred 16 year old Drayven Joseph Lundgren on charges of theft in the fifth degree, and possession of prescription drugs.

An Oelwein woman has been charged in connection with a weekend incident. Just before 2am Saturday, Oelwein Police were called to a physical altercation in the 600 block of 1st Avenue NE. 33 year old Jennifer Eickhoff was arrested for domestic abuse assault.

Late Friday night, authorities responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 1st Avenue SW. A car occuppied by the alleged suspects was pulled over by police. 20 year old Joseph Hedgman of Oelwein was charged with driving while his license is suspended, failure to provide security against liability, and improper rear lamps.

And 30 year old Timothy Postel of Quasqueton was taken into custody Thursday night in the 100 block of North Frederick, on a Buchanan County warrant for possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
