Motorcycle Collides with Truck, Killing Greeley Man

A Greeley man has died in a traffic accident this morning (Wednesday, July 18) in his Delaware County hometown.

It happened just before 7am at the intersection of Moody Street and Highway 38 in Greeley.

24 year old Benjamin Malone was driving his motorcycle west on Moody, when he attempted a left turn onto Highway 38. His cycle collided head-on with a truck driven by 64 year old Stephen Lutz of Elkader, that was just entering Greeley.

Malone was taken to the Manchester hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The accident was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.
