A young Manchester man faces charges, for assaulting a witness to another crime, at a local business.


The incident happened August 21st at the Kwik Star convenience store in Manchester. Responding officers found the victim, who was the witness in an unrelated crime, reporting that he was assaulted by a man who kicked and punched him numerous times in the face.

Investigators also determined that a juvenile helped the assailant by driving him to the store, knowing his intentions, then helping him escape the scene.

18 year old Tino Wilson was taken into custody and charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Bodily Injury, and Tampering with a Witness.

The juvenile was also charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Bodily Injury, and being an Accessory After the Fact.

There was no word on if the victim had to be hospitalized after the assault.
