Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Set To Visit Waterloo In April

On the brink of a possible presidential campaign in 2020, Garcetti (D) will make a few stops in Iowa including Waterloo.

Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti, will make multiple stops in Iowa next month that will spark rumors of a Presidential run in 2020. Garcetti will be making a 2-day trip on April 13th and 14th.

Garcetti will be in the Quad Cities to give the keynote address at the Scott's County Democrats' annual Red, White, and Blue Dinner. He will also make a stop at the Carpenters Union training facility in Altoona and take a tour of Des Moines with Mayor Frank Cownie.

It is also rumored that Garcetti will visit Waterloo where his wife, Amy, has family.

This is Garcetti's first trip to Iowa as potential Presidential candidate.
