Local Woman Cited for Driving Violation

A local motorist is being charged with a driving infraction.

Just before 10:30pm Wednesday (Dec. 13), Oelwein Police pulled over a car in the 10 block of 20th Street SE. The driver, 21 year old Kristen Arends of Oelwein, was cited for Driving While her License is Suspended.

Oelwein Police are investigating a theft incident. The theft complaint was called in to authorities shortly after 6pm Wednesday, from the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE. No other information was released. The theft remains under investigation.
