Local Woman Arrested for Allegedly Driving Drunk

After getting a tip from another law enforcement agency, Oelwein Police have arrested a local woman for alleged drunk driving.
Just before 5am Tuesday (Jan. 17), the Oelwein Police Department received information from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, of a vehicle possibly being driven by an intoxicated driver, headed from West Union to Oelwein.

Police stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of 1st Avenue NE, and arrested the driver, identified as 36 year old Jennifer Eickhoff of Oelwein.

Eickhoff is being charged with OWI 1st Offense, and Child Endangerment.
