Local Police Look into An Attempted Break-in

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating an attempted burglary.

Authorities received a report of an attempted break-in, just before 10am Sunday (March 18), in the 1,000 block of South Frederick Avenue in Oelwein.

No other information was available. According to police, a report was taken, and the incident is being investigated.
