Local Man Missing from Facility is Arrested in Fayette

Authorities have arrested a Fayette man, after getting a report that he was missing from a residential facility.

Just before 10pm Wednesday (Oct. 4), the Fayette County Sheriff was notified that 53 year old Steven McIntyre was missing from Prairie View Residential Facility.
McIntyre was later found in the city of Fayette, where he was arrested for Public Intoxication-3rd or Subsequent Offense.

An Oelwein woman, 32 year old Jonya Smith, turned herself into the Fayette County jai Tuesday evening. She had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear. Smith was released after posting bond.

And 26 year old Kristopher Gratz of New Hampton was taken into custody Tuesday, on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear. The original charges were 2 counts of Theft-5th Degree. Gratz was held on $750 cash bond, pending his initial court appearance.
