Local Man Jailed After Disturbing Wadena Residents

An Oelwein man has been arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance in the city of Wadena.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report just before 5pm Tuesday (April 10), that a male was causing some type of disturbance in Wadena.

Following the investigation, the subject, identified as 36 year old Benjamin Moritz of Oelwein, was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct.

Moritz was taken to the Fayette County jail in West Union, where he was held until his initial court appearance.
