Local Man Arrested on Warrant, Another Man Cited for License Violation

Oelwein Police have arrested one local man on a Fayette County warrant, and cited another for a license infraction.

At about 11am Monday (Nov. 26), Oelwein Police took 21 year old Gary McNamara into custody, for a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant for a Probation Violation.

And an Oelwein motorist was ticketed for a driving infraction, during a traffic stop Monday morning, at about 11am. A vehicle driven by 48 year old David Hurst was pulled over in the 10 block of 12th Street SE. During the investigation, Oelwein Police cited, then released Hurst for Driving While his License is Suspended.
