Iowa High School Pre-Season Girls Basketball Rankings

Just days before the start of the Iowa high school girls basketball season, the governing body that oversees the sport has released its first rankings of the year.

Seven teams from the Cedar Valley and Northeast Iowa are featured in the pre-season poll, released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) on Wednesday (November 19, 2014).

The girls basketball season begins Friday night. There are 31 games scheduled across the state.
