The Oelwein Community School District will continue with interviews of the four finalists for the position of superintendent.


Last night (Monday, March 13) Dave Hoeger, the principal at Western Dubuque High School in Peosta met with the public and focus groups.

Tonight (Tuesday), Dr. Daniel Frazier, superintendent at the Litchfield Minnesota school district will be at the RAMS center in Oelwein.

On Wednesday, Patrick Bollman, the principal at Briggs Elementary in Maquoketa, will visit with Oelwein residents.

Then on Thursday, the last finalist, Oelwein High School principal Josh Ehn, will interview and meet with the public.

The meet and greets will be held from 4:30-5:30pm.

The Oelwein school board is hoping to the fill the position by March 24th; current superintendent Dan Diercks announced he would be leaving at the end of his contract.
