A Linn County inmate, who failed to return from a work release order last month, has turned himself in to authorities this (Friday, June 1) morning.

Terrance Rush had been serving a 120 day Mittimus sentence in the Linn County jail, for Contempt of Court. Rush was approved for a work release program, and was released from jail on May 12 to participate.

However, Rush failed to return to the jail when he was scheduled to return the next day, on May 13.

Rush turned himself in to the Linn County Correctional Center over 2 weeks later, just before 7am today (Friday, June 1st).
