The Iowa Hawkeyes ended the regular season on a three-game winning streak to finish at 8-4. The highlight of their season was their shocking 14-13 upset over then-#2 Michigan. Iowa's bowl destination was revealed on Sunday, and the Hawkeyes will once again travel to Florida to play in the Outback Bowl.

Coach Kirk Ferentz will lead #21 Iowa against 20th-ranked Florida January 2nd at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Gators lost to #1 Alabama, 54-16, in the SEC Championship game on Saturday (12/3). It will be a much shorter trip for Gators fans, as Tampa Bay is only about two hours from UF's Gainesville campus. However, the Outback Bowl is familiar territory for the Hawkeyes, who will be making their fifth appearance since 2003.
