110 years ago the Model T rolled off the assembly line. But now Ford is set to phase out car sales.

Say goodbye to the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, C-Max and the Taurus. Ford announced Thursday April, 26th that they "will not invest in next generations of traditional Ford sedans for North America."

Ford has not said when the Taurus and other models will be phased out but the company says almost 90% of its North America portfolio will be trucks, utilities, and commercial vehicles by the year 2020. As far as cars go, Ford will only be concerned with the Mustang and the new Ford Active. They will also make more of a focus on SUV's as sales for SUV's have been trending up for some time now.
