A Postville woman faces a drug charge after a traffic stop in Fayette County. At about 4:30am Wednesday, a deputy stopped a van for suspicious activity, in the 2,000 block of County Road W-45. During a consented search and subsequent investigation, 21 year old Tonya Huckins was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was held in the Fayette County jail until her initial court appearance.

Late Wednesday night, a Fayette County deputy stopped a car on Main Street in Arlington, for being driven without headlamps or tail lamps on. The driver, 47 year old Scott Timmerman of Strawberry point, was arrested for driving under revocation and suspension.

And an Oelwein woman, 44 year old Barabara Shaffer, was taken into custody Tuesday on a pretrial violation warrant. She was held on $75,000 bond.
