One of the Decorah eagles is (still) missing.

The Director of the Raptor Resource Project says the male bird was last seen in the nest on April 19th. The female continues to feed and nurture the baby eaglets, that have hatched over the last few weeks.

The father, dubbed "Dad Decorah", usually helps in raising the kids, but the eagle has eluded the camera for about a week.

Numerous people turned out over the weekend to help search for the missing male eagle, but could not find him. The Decorah Fire Department assisted in the search. And a drone was used to look at branches high in the nearby trees.

The eagles and their brood, are very popular, monitored on camera and watched by thousands around the world on their website. The Raptor Resource Project will continue to watch for the father.
