We now know the name of the Northeast Iowa man who died from injuries in a weekend traffic accident.
The accident happened at about 4am Sunday (Oct. 23), in Winneshiek county, just north of Decorah, on Locust Road.

27 year old Rob Loftus of Lawler was driving south on Locust, when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

The car left the road, entered a ditch, and rolled, landing on the passenger side.

Loftus, apparently the only one in the vehicle, was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.
