False Emergency Call to Sheriff from Residential Facility

A resident of Prairie View Residential Facility will be going to court, after making a false emergency 911 call to authorities.

Just before noon Wednesday (May 16), the Fayette County dispatch received a 911 call from a person at the residential facility near Fayette. When a deputy responded, it was learned that 33 year old James Patterson had made the call, when there was no emergency.

Patterson is charged with False Reports to, or Communications with Public Safety Entities.

He will make a court appearance at a later date.
