Escaped Men Sought

The Fayette County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in finding three men who escaped from a local residental facility.

At about 9pm Friday, West Union police were called to the Department of Correctional Services 1st District West Union Residential Facility, on the report of three people who escaped.

The 3 men are identified as 21 year old Taylor Oaks, 21 year old Shawn McBride, and 23 year old Tyler Roe.

The Fayette County Sheriff received an active arrest warrant for Oakes, for a probation violation. Oakes was on probation and held at the facility for charges of sexual abuse in the third degree and 2 counts of forgery. He is wanted on a $20,000 cash only warrant.

The three escapees are also persons of interest in a car theft Sunday morning. A maroon 1997 Chevrolet Lumina was taken from a West Union residence. The license plate number is 634TWN.

Anyone with information on the three men, is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff, West Union police, or local authorities.
