Drug Charges Filed on Pre-trial Violation

An Oelwein man has been arrested on a pre-trial violation, concerning illegal drugs.

39 year old Randy Butts was served an arrest warrant Thursday (May 4) for a Pre-trial Violation on the original charges of 3 counts of a controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and gathering where controlled substances are used.

Butts is being held in the Fayette County jail on an additional $100,000 bond.

Also arrested on a warrant Thursday: 24 year old Kenin Grey of Maynard was wanted for theft in the 3rd degree.

He was held on $2,000 bond.
