A Plainfield man is being charged with causing a traffic accident northeast of Waverly.


The Bremer County Sheriff was notified of the accident Tuesday (Nov. 28), at the intersection of County Road C-33 and Joy Avenue.

A car driven by 53 year old Daniel Cox of Plainfield was westbound, following an SUV driven by 34 year old Bridget Steere-Bollman of Waverly. Steere-Bollman slowed for a vehicle in front of her, when she was rear-ended by Cox's car.

Steere-Bollman was taken to the Waverly hospital for an evaluation.

Cox was charged with Failure to Stop in a Safe Distance, and Driving While Suspended.
