Nashville Predators fans knew Dierks Bentley had to sing the National Anthem before the playoffs ended. The team's biggest celebrity fan waited until Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals but delivered a very smokey, meaningful performance of the song.

It was clear the moment was important to Bentley, a longtime hockey player and fan and an original fan of Nashville's hockey team. While not quite as rangy as Martina McBride or Carrie Underwood's performance, it was a fine way to begin the game.

Country's Best Anthem Singer? You Choose:

Vince Gill, Keith Urban and Trisha Yearwood are a few of other singers of the National Anthem prior games at Bridgestone Arena. Luke Bryan also took the ice once this playoff season. The Preds have only lost once at home this playoff season, and the home crowd played a big roll in Saturday night's Game 3 win.

Of course Underwood is the Predators' most well-known fan. Her husband Mike Fisher is the team's captain, and she's been a very vocal and visual supporter over the last several weeks. During the first intermission on Monday night she talked about the game, her support of the team and fighting. She's a fan of fighting, figuring Fisher can more than hold his own.

The Predators can only have one more home game this playoff season. If a Game 6 is necessary, it will be played in Nashville. The Pittsburgh Penguins led the series two games to one before the game started.
