A Decorah woman faces charges after she put her car in a rural Winneshiek County ditch.


The accident happened at about 6:30pm Wednesday (Dec. 12) on Middle Calmar Road, in Springfield Township. 35 year old Amber Pambin was driving south, when she lost control of her car. The vehicle left the road, struck a field drive, and ended up in the ditch.

Pambin was not injured, but there was $10,000 in damage.

She was charged by the Winneshiek County Sheriff, with Failure to Maintain Control.

The Iowa State Patrol also filed charges, of Operating While Under the Influence.
