On Sunday, April 17, the United States Hockey League enters day four of the 2016 USHL Clark Cup Playoffs. Two teams finally step onto the ice while another one is down to their last chance.

The Green Bay Gamblers and the Dubuque Fighting Saints will finally get their best-of-five series underway tonight in Green Bay. It's an Eastern Conference semifinal match-up that features two teams that are used to the pressure. Four of the last six Clark Cup championships were won by these two teams. Dubuque scored the championship in 2011 and 2013. Green Bay won it all in 2010 and 2012. Game two will be in Green Bay on Monday.

Led by first year head coach Bill Muckalt, the Tri-City Storm have jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the Sioux Falls Stampede. The Stampede are up against the wall in the best-of-five series. They will need to dig deep if they want to be the first back-to-back Clark Cup Champions in USHL Tier I history. Game three is Friday, April 22 in Sioux Falls..

The Lincoln Stars evened up their best-of-five series (1-1) against the Waterloo Black Hawks Saturday night (recap). Both teams missed the post-season last year. Lincoln is trying to go from last place in the USHL to Clark Cup Champions. Despite having a Power Play ranked 12th overall, Waterloo used two Power Play goals to steal the series opener. Game 3 is set for Saturday, April 23 in Waterloo.

The Anderson Cup winning Cedar Rapids RoughRiders shutout the Bloomington Thunder to start this best-of-five series, 2-0. Bloomington qualified for the post-season for the first time in the team's short USHL history. They exploded for a 7-2 Saturday night win in Cedar Rapids. The series moves to Bloomington for game three on Friday, April 22.
