UNI, Xavier Agree To Play Men’s Basketball Series

UNI has agreed to a home-and-home series with Xavier in men's basketball beginning this fall when the Panthers travel to Cincinnati to take on the Musketeers.

The Panthers will head to the Cintas Center to match up with the Musketeers on Nov. 26. The following season, UNI will play host to Xavier at the McLeod Center on Dec. 22, 2017.

UNI is coming off a 23-13 year that saw the Panthers win the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and reach the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

The Musketeers went 28-6 last season and earned a No. 2 seed in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

Both squads are also taking part in the 2016 Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
