2017 Iowa High School Football Week 4 Rankings

Nearly a dozen teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the latest Iowa high school football poll, released by the Associated Press on Monday (Sept. 18, 2017).

Three newcomers are among the area's 11 ranked squads. Decorah (4-0) and Waverly-Shell (4-0) Rock both debuted in the Class-3A top 10, while Aplington-Parkersburg (4-1) returned to the Class-2A poll following a one week absence.

Don Bosco (4-0) remains the highest rated team among the group. The Dons are ranked No. 1 in the eight-player survey for a third-straight week. Joining them is No. 9 Tripoli (4-0), which jumped two spots from last week.

Cedar Falls (3-1) jumped four spots to No. 6 in Class-4A, while Waukon (3-1) dropped five spots No 7 in Class-2A.
