County Sheriff Reports Another Accident Involving Deer

A young driver from Sumner has escaped injuries, but her car was damaged, after striking a deer early this (Wednesday, Nov. 1) morning.

At about 12am, the Fayette County Sheriff was called to a car vs deer accident on "X" Avenue and 240th Street, 5 miles south of Waucoma.

A vehicle driven by 18 year old Jaiden Jacobson was southbound, when she collided with a deer that was in the roadway.

Jacobson was not hurt, but her 2014 Kia Sorento sustained $1,500 in damages.
