Clayton County Motorcycle Accident Puts Man in Hospital

A weekend motorcycle accident in Clayton County has sent a Cedar Rapids driver to the hospital.

It happened shortly after 4:30pm Friday on Highway 13 near Elkader; 60 year old Thomas Sedlacek was riding his motorcycle north, when he lost control.

The bike came to rest partially on the shoulder and the east ditch.

Sedlacek was Aircared to University Hospitals in Iowa City; a condition report was not available.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Clayton County Sheriff and Elkader Fire/EMS.
