Charges are possible in a rollover accident that sent 2 people to the hospital in rural Fayette County.

At about 8am Tuesday (Feb. 20), the Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call, reporting a rollover accident with injuries on "R" Avenue, south of Hawkeye.

Deputies found a 2007 Ford Taurus on it's top; it apparently rolled a couple of times.

The driver, 23 year old Tanner Grover of Independence, was able to get out of the car and later pulled out his passenger, a 17 year old girl. Both were taken to the West Union Hospital. A condition report was not available.

According to authorities, Grover may have been impaired when the accident occurred.

It remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
