Car vs Deer Accident in Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff reports an accident involving a deer.

It happened at about 5:30am Thursday, on Apple Road, east of Clermont.

A car driven by 26 year old Eric Lechtenberg of Elgin was headed east, when a deer ran out onto the road.

The collision caused $1500 in damage, but Lechtenberg was not hurt.
