Burglar Wanted in Dubuque, Guttenberg, and 3 Other States

Authorities in Dubuque and Guttenberg are looking for a burglar, who is also wanted in 3 other states, involving at least 11 break in's.

The Dubuque County Sheriff posted surveillance photos of the suspect, now identified as Jeffrey Joseph Krieger.

Authorities initially determined that a man and a woman were involved in a burglary/theft at Eichman's Bar and Family Restaurant near Sageville, just north of Dubuque in July. Krieger was identified as one of the suspects, in a surveillance photo.
Krieger is also the suspect in a burglary at the Pronto Market in Guttenberg.

Further investigation revealed that Krieger was a suspect in 11 other break-in's from July to September, in Houston County Minnesota, Mower County Minnesota, Winona County Minnesota, Morton County North Dakota, Burleigh County North Dakota, Stutsman County North Dakota and Lawrence County South Dakota.

Krieger has 7 active warrants in Minnesota, aside from the 11 newly reported incidents. He apparently targets gas stations and golf pro shops. The identity of the woman who accompanies Krieger was unknown.
