Assault in Waukon Results in Arrest of Local Man

Waukon Police have arrested a local man, after authorities were sent out to investigate a couple of assaults that happened on Jean Road, on the south side of Waukon.

Following the investigation by Waukon Police Officers, 33 year old Brandon Kountkofsky was taken into custody on Sunday (Feb. 10).

He is being charged with Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Public Intoxication, and Providing False Identification information.

No other details were released.
