Arrests for Drugs and Theft in Oelwein

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an illegal drug charge.

Shortly after 8pm Tuesday, 34 year old Harry Schultz Junior was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the 100 block of 7th Street SE in Oelwein.

After officers investigated, Schultz was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to delver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An Independence teen faces a theft charge in Oelwein.

At about 9:30pm Wednesday, Oelwein police took 18 year old Trenton Cabell into custody for theft in the fifth degree, after looking into the report of a shoplifting incident in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE.
