Area Woman Hurt When SUV Slides Off Highway

A Cedar Falls woman has been injured in a one-vehicle accident in Bremer County.

It happened on snow-covered Highway 218 near Waverly, shortly after 11:30am Wednesday (April 18).

A sport utility vehicle, driven by 45 year old Angela Lalan, was southbound on 218 when she lost control, striking a sign post.

Lalan was taken to the Waverly Health Center to be treated for her injuries. There was damage to her GMC Acadia.
