Area Woman Hurt in Buchanan Co. Rollover

A Northeast Iowa woman is recovering after rolling her car in rural Buchanan County.

The accident happened shortly after 8am Saturday (Jan. 27) in the 2800 block of Dugan Avenue, north of Brandon.

A car driven by Aleesha Clarke-Wilkinson of Brandon was traveling north, when she lost control. The car crossed the center line, went into a ditch, then rolled.

Clarke-Wilkinson was taken to the Independence hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Her 1998 Chevrolet Cavelier was totaled. The Buchanan County Sheriff investigated the accident.
