A Christmas Day traffic stop in Fayette County has resulted in numerous charges against a Sumner man.


The Fayette County Sheriff's Office pulled over a car at about 3:45pm on December 25th, near the intersection of Highway 56 and Cedar Road, south of Elgin.

The investigating deputies arrested the driver, identified as 35 year old Justin Pattison of Sumner.

He is being charged with:

Driving While License Barred, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, OWI 2nd Offense, 2 counts of Child Endangerment, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fraudulent Use of Registration, Driving with No Insurance, Fail to Obey Yield Sign, Failure to Use a Child Restrain Device, and Operating without Registration.

Pattison was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.
