Area Man Arrested after Weekend Traffic Stop

Oelwein police have arrested a Strawberry Point man following a weekend traffic stop.

At about 1:30am Saturday, officers pulled over a car in the 10 block of 3rd Street NW in Oelwein.

Following an investigating, the driver, 20 year old Travis Norton of Strawberry Point, was taken into custody for driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
