A Northeast Iowa man, accused of breaking into numerous area homes in the past couple of years, gets probation after pleading guilty to some of the charges.


48 year old Daryl Sobolik of Cresco was taken into custody by Cresco Police last May, after Sobolik was identified in a security video, from an apartment he allegedly burglarized.

Sobolik reportedly confessed to breaking into 10 area homes in the last two years. He was charged with 4 counts of 3rd Degree Burglary and 1 count of Attempted 3rd Degree Burglary.

After pleading guilty to 2 counts of burglary, Sobolik was sentenced to 2 years probation, and ordered to pay restitution to the victims.
