The webinar - co-sponsored by the National Corn Growers Association  DTN is hosting a free webinar to help farmers choose the right farm bill risk coverage package - will begin at 10 a.m. Central and include presentations from Gary Schnitkey, Jonathan Coppess and Keith Coble.

NCGA Public Policy Action Team Chair Jim Reed says this is the first time farmers have a choice on risk management programs - and it’s a big decision that will affect their operations for years to come. Reed says the webinar is a great opportunity to hear from a few of the most knowledgeable ag economists on the programs - who will share examples of 2014 corn and soybean county yields and price forecasts to help farmers learn about conditions that favor PLC or ARC packages.
