The Fayette County Sheriff reports another car vs deer accident. This one happened shortly after 8pm Monday, near the intersection of Kornhill and Eastern Roads, near Wadena. A pickup driven by 51 year old Kevin Fox of Sumner, was westbound, when a deer came out onto the road and struck his vehicle. No one was injured, but there was $2,000 in damage.

A Maynard motorist is being charged in a one-vehicle accident in rural Fayette County. Shortly after midnight Saturday, a deputy discovered an suv in the ditch on County Road W-25, near Twin Bridges Park, near Maynard. The driver was not at the scene. An investigation determined that 38 year old Tami Shannon of Maynard was driving the vehicle, when she lost control and drove into the ditch. No one was injured, and there was no apparent damage to the suv. Shannon was charged with failure to maintain control.
