It's already becoming difficult for American consumers to find good deals on meat. Beef seems to be especially hit hard, as the food chain has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of this comes a new recall on beef. ABC News reports Lakeside Refrigerated Services which is based in New Jersey, has recalled roughly 42,922 pounds of ground beef products, impacting seven different types of products, that may be contaminated with E. coli.

The impacted raw ground beef items were produced on June 1, 2020, and include seven different vacuum-sealed products.

A press release from the USDA states,

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 46841” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

Thus far their have been no known cases of E. coli associated with the recalled beef. For a full list of products impacted, check here.
