3 Car Accident Under Investigation by Sheriff

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating an accident that involved 3 vehicles.

It happened at about 8am Tuesday (Jan. 30), at the intersection of Highway 56 and Dogwood Road, south of Elgin.

27 year old Brandon Davis of Wadena, had slowed to make a left turn, when he was rear-ended by a car driven by a 17 year old girl. A third car, also westbound and being driven by another 17 year old female, nearly collided with the turning vehicle; it went onto the shoulder of the highway.

One of the juveniles was taken to the West Union hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Her car was totaled. Davis' car had $5,000 in damage.
