2 Oelwein Residents Arrested on Separate Warrants
Oelwein Police have arrested 2 local residents on separate outstanding warrants.
Just before 1:30pm Tuesday (July 24), 20 year old Emma Imhoff of Oelwein was taken into custody on a Dubuque County warrant for a Probation Violation. The original charge was Burglary 3rd Degree. Imhoff was arrested after an interaction with a police officer in the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE.
And shortly after 9pm Tuesday, 22 year old Cody Aiello of Oelwein was taken into custody on a Linn County warrant for Failure to Appear for Adjudication of Guilt, on an original charge of False Use of a Credit Card. Aiello was arrested after interacting with an Oelwein Police officer in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.
Also on Tuesday, at about 4pm, Oelwein Police received a report of a theft in the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE. The incident is still under investigation.
