2 Local People Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

The Fayette County Sheriff has arrested 2 Oelwein residents on outstanding warrants.

Shortly after 11am Wednesday (May 10), 52 year old Jeffrey Woods was taken into custody on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation. Woods was held in the county jail on $5,000 cash bond.

And just before 2pm Wednesday, a deputy arrested 37 year old Ashley Overton on a warrant for failure to appear. Overton was held in the county jail in West Union on a $500 cash bond.
