A two-vehicle accident in Clayton County has sent two people to the hospital.

It happened Tuesday, just before 4pm, at the intersection of Highway 18 and Eagle Drive, just southwest of Marquette.

A van driven by 29 year old Tanya Wolcott of West Union, which was westbound on the highway, slowed and pulled to the right side of the road, for a fire truck with it's emergency lights and sirens on, exiting the Eagle Subdivision.

A car behind Wolcott, driven by 75 year old Dorothy Naber of Cedar Falls, was unable to stop and rear-ended the van.

Wolcott and a passenger in the other vehicle, 77 year old George Naber, were taken to the Prairie du Chien hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
